About Us

Bruce Dobson began studying computer repair in 1984, and graduated with an Associate degree in Computer Service Technology from North Seattle Community College. After a few years of working in the field as a computer technician and repair depot technician, he returned to school. In 1990, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington. Bruce founded Dobson Computer Services in 1990, while he was working as a C programmer at a medical records software company in Seattle. Since then, Bruce has been serving the computing needs of the people of Whidbey Island, and nearby communities.
